Aurora over Pleasant Lake

A strong geomagnetic storm produced a beautiful display of northern lights last night.  I went to the shore of Pleasant Lake in Harwich to capture the display reflecting in the calm water. Shot with a Canon 6D and 24-70mm f/2.8L lens

    Very nice work!

    How did you know ahead of time that there would an aurora? Was this predicted somewhere? Please advise. Thanks.
